Support Officer

Support Officer - Sophie Cleanthous

Committee role:

I work closely with the DHP Executive Committee on any ongoing project, whilst main duties include the minuting of meetings, liaising with the BPS and other relevant bodies. My role also involves the development of the DHP Newsletters and circulation of DHP promotional materials. In addition I am also involved in the Publicity and Liasion sub-committee with responsibilities like the DHP Website management, the DHP Announcements List and the development of new improved promotional material for the Division.

Job title at place of work:

MPhiL/PhD Student, Unit of Behavioural Medicine, Division of Research Strategy, UCL.

I am currently undertaking my PhD studies within the area of rheumatology, investigating patient uncertainty amongst three different patient groups, systemic lupus erythematosus, rheumatoid arthritis and osteoarthritis.

My main research interest is patient adjustment to chronic illness.
