The DHP committee is calling for their members to participate in the writing of a variety of briefing documents for the Department of Health. The papers will have a pivotal role in educating the Care Group Workforce Teams in the NHS regarding the competencies and skills of Health Psychologists working in physical health care. The papers will cover Coronary Heart Disease; Access to Healthcare (including General Elective Care and Emergency Care); Cancer; Children's Health; Maternity and Gynaecology Services; Long-term Conditions (incorporating the NSF areas of Diabetes, Renal and Dermatology); and Older People's Health.
