DHP response on statutory registration

In common with the other Divisions, the DHP has responded to the BPS request for comments on the Department of Health Consultation document on Statutory Regulation of Applied Psychology.  Our response was prepared after a meeting of the full committee of the DHP.   It represents the consensus of opinion on the committee. Click here for a full copy of the reply.

On 10th May the  BPS will post on the BPS website a draft of their corporate response (based on the responses they have received from sub- systems and members).  We will read that response carefully to ensure that the DHP position is represented.  However since statutory regulation will affect many DHP members directly, I hope that you will read the BPS draft response and make any concerns you have known to the BPS and to us (email d.johnston@abdn.ac.uk).

Derek Johnston, Chair DHP
