The Division of Health Psychology is pleased to announce that Alice Theadom has been granted Chartered Health Psychologist Status by the British Psychological Society. Alice is our first candidate to achieve Chartered Status through the BPS route and her achievement is hot on the heels of the first candidate to gain Chartered status through the Stage Two route.
Of her achievement, Alice commented: "It's great to be the first person to complete the Stage 2 Qualification through the BPS route. I've gained so much from the experience of applying theory to practice, developing skills in different areas of Health Psychology (such as consultancy) and reflecting on my own practice. Completion of the core and optional units of competence have also provided me with clear examples of my skills to share with employers. I feel the Stage 2 Qualification has given me an excellent foundation for my career."
The Division of Health Psychology is chuffed with the double success.
