DHP Working with the Department of Health

Since 2004 members of the DHP have worked as consultants to the Department of Health, providing expert advice, guidance and leadership in the development, evaluation and implementation of a range of initiatives including Health Trainers and Life Check. The work conducted by Prof Charles Abraham, Prof Susan Michie and Prof Nichola Rumsey has demonstrated the valuable application of health psychology at a national level and raised awareness of the discipline within the Department of Health.
