Grandparenting route to close
Grandparenting criteria are in place for candidates who began their post-GBR training in health psychology before 1 September 2001 to gain Chartered Health Psychologist status. However, these routes were an interim measure whilst the Qualification in Health Psychology was established. The DHP has decided that the grandparenting routes will close on 1 September 2007. Applications received after this date will not be considered. Candidates who had been intending to apply on one of the grandparenting routes but who do not expect to be ready to apply ahead of the deadline should email applications@bps.org.uk or telephone the Society Admissions Team on 0116 252 9525 with details of their situation as soon as possible.
