Health Psychology training in Scotland

The integration of Health Psychology to NHS provision in Scotland is going from strength to strength:  

Professor Ann Smyth, director of training for psychology services, said:

“A shared understanding of each other’s requirements was essential from the outset. NES sought to broker arrangements which would foster collaboration between existing psychology services and public health departments in NHS Boards and between NHSScotland and health psychology as represented both within Scotland’s universities and at UK level within the professional body. We are delighted by how positively all parties have reacted to this proposal”.
