Health Psychologist/Researcher - Weight Management
Applications are invited for this exciting oppurtunity for a early career health psychologist to work in the area of weight management.
This post will suit those wishing to use academic skills of research and analysis to contribute to the work of MEND Central - a social enterprise dedicated to providing community-based healthy-lifestyle programmes to help adults and children to successfully manage their weight. The post holder will work in an established multidisciplinary team of psychologists, nutritionists and exercise professionals with strong links to the Institute of Child Health at UCL. The work will be varied but principle duties will involve the provision of psychological expertise to help evaluate the impact of MEND's varied suite of interventions - currently running in over 300 locations accross the UK, USA and Australia.
This post may be best suited to individuals working towards Stage Two of the Health Psychologist qualification although we would also like to hear from more experienced professionals who have a real interest or demonstrated expertise in the area of adult or child weight management. Pay and conditions will be competative and dependent on skills and experience.

We are seeking an outstanding candidate for an NIHR funded post-doctoral position. The post will be part of a team of researchers undertaking a new programme of research into psoriasis and associated co-morbidities.
This post offers an excellent opportunity to join a successful research team within the Faculty of Medical and Human Sciences.
You must hold a first degree (or equivalent) in Psychology or a related area and have a PhD in a relevant subject with a research background that involves a significant element of qualitative interviewing and analysis, preferably in a health-related area. You should also be able to demonstrate that your high quality research activity has lead to publication.
