Welcome!

The Division of Health Psychology is delighted to announce its new chair for 2012-2013 is Dr Tony Cassidy. Tony is a Lecturer of Health Psychology at the University of Ulster and has research interests that cross the wide spectrum of psychology. He took up his post at the DHP annual conference in Liverpool, during which he presented his plans for the coming year at the AGM. Tony recognised the progress of the Division but expressed one of his key aims: "While we have come a long way we have some way still to go and our most difficult and important task in the immediate future is to progress career opportunities for health psychology practitioners". An ambititious plan for the Division that will need the engagement of members across the whole of the DHP.
